Subject: Tell Rey that war has NOTHING to do with defending the USA Homeland

Vietnam was invaded by a CRIMINAL CABAL of stupid Americans, who would not refuse the Draft.

I, Lawrence Nowell in the 1970s secretly hired Draft Dodgers that were USA citizens who had the sense “not” to fight in a phony Corporation war.

BECAUSE:

The most decorated soldier in the USA, Smedley Butler, wrote a book called: WAR IS A RACKET. (Just to give Corporations control of other peoples’ property).

Johnson during his campaign for President in 1964, pledged not to send “American boys” to Vietnam. On November 22, 1963, when Kennedy was assassinated, Johnson was sworn in as President.

Johnson then sent the first combat troops to South Vietnam in March 1965 During his presidency, Johnson constantly increased the number of U.S. troops deployed to Vietnam, which peaked at more than 500,000 in 1968. Despite mounting U.S. casualties as well as massive nationwide protests against the draft and conflict in Vietnam, Johnson refused to bring the troops home stating that he did not want to become “the first American President to lose a war.”

On April 23, 1975, Ford declared the Vietnam War ended “as far as America is concerned”. Seven days later, Saigon was captured and South Vietnam fell to the communists.

10 YEARS of A NEEDLESS ILLEGAL WAR, because the North Vietnamese were not going to attack New York City or anywhere in the USA.

BUT the military cry out was to kill as many of them “GOOKS” as possible. Stack ’em like cordwood. Victory was a high body-count … war a matter of arithmetic. The pressure [from the top] on unit

commanders to produce enemy corpses was intense, and they in turn communicated it to their troops. This led to such practices as counting civilians as Viet Cong. ‘If it’s dead and Vietnamese, it’s VC,’ was a rule of thumb in the bush  It is not surprising, therefore, that some men acquired a contempt for human life and a predilection for taking it.”

The Vietnamese were NO THREAT TO THE USA HOMELAND. It was another phony war in order to get control of the oil for the USA Corporations.

The obsession with body count—starting with General William Westmoreland, the commanding general in Vietnam—led to, in Turse’s words, “the indiscriminate killing of South Vietnamese noncombatants -- the endless slaughter that wiped out civilians day after day, month after month, year after year.” The enormity of the crime was “neither accidental nor unforeseeable,” but rather “the inevitable outcome of deliberate policies, dictated at the highest levels of the military,” Turse concludes.

The evidence he amasses of:

the murder of the innocent Vietnamese people,

torture,

rape,

abuse,

forced displacement,

home burnings,

specious arrests,

imprisonment without due process”

-- is irrefutable. Indeed, much of the evidence he relies upon was gathered secretly by the U.S. military at the time, only to be suppressed, consigned to archives, and forgotten. It’s hardly surprising that senior U.S. military officials sought to suppress evidence of atrocities on a mass-scale, since they themselves were both complicit and culpable.

Anyone stupid enough to fight in the Corporations’ ILLEGAL Wars deserves to be PUNISHED for all the MURDERING.

Tell Rae:

War has nothing to do with defending the USA Homeland.

War is all for the profit of the Corporations.
