Annual Holy Days for 2017

The New Moon Nisan 1 March 11th marks the start of God’s New Year Day.

*Days start the evening before

 

Last Dinner Nisan 12 Monday evening April 10th after sundown, leisurely 1 hour dinner, Footwashing, Bread & Wine, Hymn.

 

Passover Nisan 14 “at” twilight of Wednesday April 12 just “before” the sun sets. Lasts less than 10 minutes at home taken in haste.

Stay inside all evening “after” you take the 1” piece of lamb with bitter herb/horseradish, 1” Matzos, 1 oz. wine, then stay inside until the Boker=morning. Do NOT be travelling to or from a Hall like going to and from a Catholic Mass.

 

*1st Day of Unleavened Bread Nisan 15 Thursday April 13 Holy Day=no work/no buying anything Hold/Attend a Service.

On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work. Leviticus 23:7.

1st day of cup of grain/Pentecost count April 14.

NO services on 14th to 18th Free to work/Free to buy.

*7th Day of Unleavened Bread Nisan 21Wednesday April 19 Holy Day=no work/no buying anything Hold/Attend a Service.

On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work. Leviticus 23:8

 

*Pentecost called Shavuot Friday June 2 Holy Day=no work/no buying anything Hold/Attend a Service.

 

*Trumpets Tishrei 1 Friday September 22 Holy Day=no work/no buying Hold/Attend a Service.

 

*Atonement  Tishrei 10 Sunday October 1 Holy Day=no work/no buying Hold/Attend a Service.

 

*Tabernacles Tishrei 15 starts Friday first day is October 6 Holy Day=no work/no buying Hold/Attend a Service.

NO services on 7th to 12th Free to buy/Free to work.

 

*Shemini Atzeret Tishrei 22 Friday October13 Holy Day=no work/no buying Hold/Attend a Service.

On the eighth day you shall hold a holy convocation... It is a rsolemn assembly; you shall not do any ordinary work. Leviticus 23:36.
